Have a sewing job that needs doing? Let us help make it happen.
Our two experienced tutors, supported by our wonderful volunteers, can take on a range of sewing commissions for schools, community groups, organisations and individuals.
From heavy-duty costumes and repairs to practical bags, alterations and creative upcycling, we love turning fabric, donations and ideas into something useful.
We’ve made heavy-duty costumes for school productions, repaired school uniforms, created specialist bags for the Department of Conservation to use during bird banding, and helped with costumes and sewing for Dancing for Hospice as well as taking on all sorts of other sewing projects in our community.
Whether you have a finished idea, a pile of fabric waiting for a purpose, or something that needs repairing, talk to us about what you need.
Best of all, when you commission Sewing for Success, your sewing job helps support our charitable mahi. Every commission helps keep our tutors working, our machines running and our community sewing.
Got a project in mind?
Community event? School production? Fundraiser? Repairs? Custom sewing? Upcycling?
